David Netherton

David has been a long term resident of the Sunshine Coast and after spending his last 10 years as a Senior Associate for the National top tier Law Firm Minter Ellison, has returned with his family.

David brought 10 years experience in Property Law and Retirement Village Law to Munro Thompson when he joined the firm in 2010.

He has provided advice on the daily management and development of more than 50 retirement village projects and care facilities. David is one of only a few lawyers who is able to assist Retirement Village operators across all states of Australia having established more than 20 new villages across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

David’s expertise extends to commercial and residential property development, Body Corporate and Strata advice, Scheme structuring as well as the acquisitions and disposals of major residential, commercial and industrial properties.
